What is Self Determination?

Self-determination is a big idea that simply means that people with disabilities are able to choose the services they want and the providers they want, and control other decisions regarding how they live their lives because they are authorities over themselves.

How accessible are the residences and program sites?

Seven Hills Foundation and Affiliates have made every effort to create fully accessible program sites.

Elevators: As necessary for all two or more storied buildings.
HCP Parking: Provided at each program site and residence.
HCP Restrooms: Available at each program site and residence.
Hearing Impaired: A TTY Phone Line is available for all participants use.
Medical: Staff is on site at all programs and residences to provide medical care.
Public Transportation: Making many program sites accessible.

Transportation: Case Managers will coordinate aspects of transportation on behalf of participants.
Visually Impaired: Graphic and Photo Communication is commonly used at program sites.
Wheelchair Ramps: Located at each program site and residence.
