Overview of Services
Our individualized continuum of treatment options includes assessment, outpatient groups, relapse prevention, individual and family therapy, substance use psycho-education and prevention, and drug screening. We blend Motivational Interviewing, cognitive and behavioral therapy, and therapeutic recreation activities to meet the unique needs of adolescents at every stage of their treatment and recovery.
A youth’s substance use is often connected to their personal history, environment, and other life stressors; thus, our substance use programs place a strong emphasis on treating those factors, which can include depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, (PTSD), Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder,(ADHD) and anxiety disorders. When clinically appropriate, clients are also introduced to the philosophy and values of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, which further strengthens the youth’s partnership with community resources that can help them to maintain their sobriety in the long term.
