Improving Communication, Behavioral, Psychosocial and Developmental Skills
Home-Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS) are specialized, intensive services and treatments for children with a wide range of disabilities, guided by an approved individualized treatment plan. Services are provided in the child’s home or other age-appropriate community settings. Ongoing parent participation is required to maximize what is learned during treatment. HBTS services are offered to enable a child to participate in his or her family and community by helping to improve communication, behavioral, psychosocial and developmental skills. Our Clinical Director leads a team of highly qualified licensed heath care professionals that support families in their journey of raising a child with a disability.
Children who meet the following criteria may be eligible:
- Under the age of 21
- Resident of Rhode Island
- Live at home
- Meet income & resource requirements
- Would require care provided by a nursing facility or Intermediate Care Facility
