The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts has awarded Seven Hills Family Services with a grant award of $49,620 from the Activation Fund. Seven Hills Family Services provides families and caregivers of loved ones with disabilities guidance and support as they navigate all of the state and federal programs that are available to them. Additionally, Family Support Centers offer trainings and consultations on relevant topics of interest to families such as housing, transition to adulthood, and financial planning to name a few. Generous funding from the Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts will be used to upgrade old technology in our conference room to support live video streaming for families who cannot attend the meetings in-person and video recording of the trainings to be posted on our website for future reference and to reach a wider audience.
As the colder months approach and the threat of a second COVID-19 wave impedes, our focus is to keep the families and their loved ones who we work with healthy and safe while we continue to support them in their time of need. This wonderful grant award from the Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts will enable us to do just that.
