On Friday, February 17, 23 proud participants crossed the stage at Seven Hills as graduates of the Human Services Career Support Program. Congratulations to the second cohort of staff—we cannot wait to see the great work you do in the human services field!
The Human Services Career Support Program is a collaboration of LUK, Inc, Venture Community Services, Ascentria Care Alliance, Seven Hills Foundation and Open Sky Community Services, as well as two referral and support agencies—African Community Education (ACE) and Southeast Asian Coalition of Massachusetts(SEAC).
The program is a 6-month paid training program for immigrants and refugees that include wraparound supports, three job rotations, and support from navigators and mentors to prepare them for the human services field and to provide career opportunities upon completion.
