COOL Schools creates opportunities for more than 1,600 Boston Public Schools students with and without disabilities in grades K to 12 each year to meaningfully connect with each other through the arts and supports the development of classroom and school practices that create more inclusive, welcoming environments for all students. Students with autism taking part in COOL Schools at Charlestown High School will get to focus on instrument practice, song selection, composition, and arranging, while also getting a chance to play in a band this school year.
Thank you again to the City of Boston and the Charlestown Community Impact Fund for these generous funds
