Children who have lost a parent, primary caregiver, or sibling can feel isolated and alone in their grief, and unresolved grief in childhood increases a child’s risk of anxiety, depression, physical illness, and substance abuse as they grow. The Carriage House is a safe space for grieving children to be with their true peers and together process their grief in effective, age-appropriate ways.
The Carriage House services would not be possible without the generosity of our funders.
