With great excitement, I am pleased to let you know that as of November 19, 2022, Crotched Mountain School is operating as a program of Seven Hills New Hampshire, our newest affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation.
This therapeutic residential school has a rich history in New Hampshire and draws students with disabilities from throughout New England. Its previous owners had announced its closure for November 18th, but we were able to secure an agreement and the necessary licensing to keep the doors open and the students on campus.
From 1985 until 1995, when I joined Seven Hills, I had the privilege of working at Crotched Mountain as their President and CEO. I know this is an extraordinary place and how it aligns with our mission and core values at Seven Hills. Crotched Mountain School is a special home for some of our most vulnerable children who need us now. We will return Crotched to its era of excellence with our experienced team and our extraordinary supporters leading the way. You have my commitment that Seven Hills Foundation will bring organizational structure, business systems, financial and intellectual resources, and a shared core value culture that brings joy and success to students and staff alike.
Recent press on our acquisition of the Crotched Mountain School has appeared in the Boston Business Journal, Worcester Business Journal, and many New Hampshire publications.
