Seven Hills ASPiRE! Workforce Readiness & Employment participants are engaged in a new job training program to explore sustainable farming as a potential career track. With generous funding from The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts through a 2019 Activation Fund grant, Seven Hills is collaborating with the Regional Environmental Council and Town to Table to install raised garden beds and hydroponic tower gardens at all day program sites. A new large scale community garden is being installed at Coe's Park in Worcester where ASPiRE! Participants will work side-by-side with other community members to learn about garden planning, planting and harvesting of healthy produce.
