VSA Massachusetts would like to thank the Irene Ryan Foundation for their generous grant award of $15,000. VSA Massachusetts will use this award to continue their mission in promoting the involvement of people of all abilities in the cultural life of our communities. The Seven Hills Behavioral Health (SHBH) Food Pantry has served communities located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts for the past seven years. Individuals who visit the Food Pantry receive food gift cards, ready-to-eat meals and non-perishable food items as well as resources and assistance with mental health and substance abuse services, housing, benefits, and healthcare. Through the kindness of local donors and foundations, the Food Pantry is able to thrive while also increasing its clientele.
