The Boston Cultural Council has awarded Open Door Arts, an affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation, with a $5,000 grant for general operating support. ODA’s innovative, research-based programs support students, educators, artists, and cultural organizations to foster learning, promote inclusion, and provide outlets for artistic expression and creative voice. Each year through ODA’s work in Boston and throughout Massachusetts 1,600 students receive inclusive arts-integrated education in their classrooms, 75 artists with disabilities have their work exhibited in professional galleries, 400 educators and cultural leaders learn how to make their classrooms and organizations more inclusive, and 500 community members connect through events and programs that promote inclusion through the arts. Thank you so much to the Boston Cultural Council for their continued support!
