YOU, Inc., an affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation, is grateful for a generous grant in the amount of $25,000 from the Hanover Insurance Group Foundation to support Bilingual Capacity Expansion at the Behavioral Health Center in Worcester. These funds will support two key strategies that will assist our agency to address a critical shortage of bilingual clinicians and other behavioral health professionals in the city. Working with our higher education partners, we’ll provide our current staff with comprehensive Spanish instruction tailored to meet the needs of healthcare workers. At the same time, we’ll prioritize translation of key consumer-facing materials which are essential to support clear and comprehensive communication with those we serve. Taken together, these strategies will improve access to behavioral health services for vulnerable individuals and families in our community.
