We are happy to introduce our next team member, Bethany Connoly, who is the Assistant Vice President for Contracted Services at Seven Hills Foundation. Her day-to-day work includes providing support to children placed in out of home care. These children often come from either unstable family backgrounds or abusive households, which causes them to struggle with several challenges including mental health illnesses, or suicide ideation. She also provides therapy sessions for children post incarceration, facilitates therapy programs for individuals, families, or groups, and recommends effective exercises including yoga, meditation, and other practices.

Raised in Bellingham, Bethany started as a MSW intern in 2003. After getting a degree in Social Work from Simmons College, she started working at YOU, Inc. in 2004 (which was later merged with Seven Hills). The part of her job she enjoys the most is being a good listener to clients, assessing and problem solving daily. She also suggests that people working in the human services field should be aware of and ready to do a little bit of everything - from administrative tasks to providing direct care. We are grateful to Bethany for her splendid work.
