The Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC) has awarded Seven Hills Family Services with $27,000 to continue the Creative Minds Program. Going into its fourth year, Creative Minds is a collaborative program involving SHFS and VSA Massachusetts (VSA MA), affiliates of Seven Hills Foundation, to provide monthly arts-based workshops, monthly music-based “jam” sessions and other community-based activities targeting people with acquired brain injury, particularly those who may not be connected to services and supports. Some of the activities that participants have been able to enjoy in the past include art workshops at the Worcester Art Museum and attending a baseball game at the Worcester Brave Hearts. Thanks to the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission, we look forward to continuing this wonderful program!
