Open Door Arts extends a sincere “Thank you!” to Unibank for their continued support of the Connecting and Creating Through the Arts project. Connecting and Creating Through the Arts is a joint venture between Open Door Arts, the Worcester Arts Museum (WAM) and Seven Hills ASPiRE! to provide weekly visual arts programming for adults with disabilities. Classes are taught both in person and virtually by professional WAM staff and include the teaching artistic techniques, comparing individual’s styles to pieces in the museum, and working to cultivate each participant’s unique abilities. The program concludes each June with an exhibition of participants’ creations in the Open Door Gallery at the Worcester Arts Museum (ODG@WAM).
