Worcester State University Faculty & Students Donate Children Holiday Books

This season of giving is underway as demonstrated by our friends at Worcester State University’s Communications Sciences and Disorders program! Faculty members Katharine Bianchi and Jamie Marino joined students Katie Cleary, Aubrey Kutil and Taylor Soukas in donating children’s books to our programs that support children in need. Thank you from Family Services of Central Massachusetts, an affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation! You bring smiles to so many children we support!

Introducing this week's Staff Champion, Natasha Frazier.

Natasha is a Residential Nurse for Adult Health Services at Seven Hills Rhode Island. She oversees five group homes and is responsible to ensure the smooth operations at those locations. She provides logistical support wherever needed and communicates with patients as well as other staff members to meet their needs.

Open Door Arts, an affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation, is grateful for the continued support of Unibank and their recent grant of $2,500 to support the arts programming offered through the Open Door Gallery at the Worcester Art Museum (ODG@WAM).

Generous Grant for Grief Support Programs

The COVID-19 pandemic has intensified the need for grief support in our community, especially for our youth. Children have suffered the loss of siblings, parents, and primary caregivers not only directly from the virus, but also from the increase in drug over-doses that have been seen during this time in Worcester County and across the country (Mass.gov).

We would like to introduce Stacey Aguiar. Stacey works as a Registered Nurse in the Early Intervention Program at Seven Hills Rhode Island. She mostly works with children from birth to 3 years of age.
