Seven Hills would like to acknowledge and thank Mr. Kungu Kungu, who has been with us for the last 15 years. He joined Seven Hills due to his interest in the field of Human Services. Kungu believes his role as Residence Director has been truly fulfilling, as he has been able to help serve communities of people that he feels have "previously been neglected" due to structural inequalities.
Seven Hills Family Services (SHFS) is grateful to the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission’s Statewide Head Injury Program (SHIP) for the FY22 Recreation Program award in the amount of $30,702 to support our proprietary Creative Minds Program. Now in its sixth year, the program provides monthly virtual and in-person arts-based workshops, music-based “jam” sessions as well as other community-based activities for people with acquired brain injury to create, make friendships, and to learn about other supports and services...

Finding a suitable home for individuals of transitional age—youth and young adults who have aged out of their state's youth custody program—can be a complex and daunting task for everyone involved. Such was the case for four young men who suddenly found themselves without a place to live. Enter Seven Hills Rhode Island and 6 staff who made it their mission to provide housing for the gentlemen.
