Both natives of the San Francisco Bay area, Margaret “Polly” Traina and her late husband Richard Traina embraced Worcester as their own when Dick assumed the Presidency of Clark University in 1984. With a shared commitment to an exceptional education for every child no matter their circumstances, Polly and Dick were vital contributors to countless endeavors and organizations in the city of Worcester.
