The Seven Hills Child & Family Behavioral Health center at 135 Gold Star Blvd. in Worcester is expected to open by March and become the main hub for the behavioral health clinical operations of YOU, Inc., Children’s Friend and Family Services of Central Massachusetts, three Seven Hills affiliates that have supported children and families in the region for decades.
Seven Hills Behavioral Health, an affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation, was recently awarded $5,000 from the Bristol County Savings Bank to provide food and basic need items to families in need. As positive cases of COVID-19 continue to climb, many families living throughout Southeastern Massachusetts are in need of a helping hand as they contend to discrepancies brought about by the global pandemic, such as unemployment and quarantines. Community Health Network of North Central Massachusetts (CHNA9) has awarded Stetson School with a $2,000 grant award to provide hydroponic gardening and healthy eating workshops with the hydroponics consulting company, Town to Table, to students interested in learning about healthy eating and growing food as a new career path.
Through their St. Vincent Healthcare Fund, the Diocese of Worcester has thoughtfully granted Children’s Friend, an affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation, with an increased grant award of $3,000 towards The Carriage House Grief Support Program.
