Seven Hills Rhode Island would like to thank the Rhode Island Foundation for their continued assistance in providing people with disabilities who seek our support with basic need items that will help them get through their day-to-day. Granted funds of $5,000 from the Rhode Island Foundation will allow us to purchase items such as adaptive clothing, cushions for wheelchairs, and accessible bathing and hygiene devices.

Thanks to the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission, Creative Minds, a Seven Hills Family Services’ program, will be entering it’s fifth year of providing an artistic outlet for people with acquired brain injury. Once a month, Creative Minds offers arts-based workshops, music-based “jam” sessions as well as other community-based activities for people with acquired brain injury to create, make friendships, and learn about other supports and services that might be available to them in the community. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General has awarded Family Services of Central Massachusetts $40,000 towards their mediation program.

Seven Hills Rhode Island would like to thank Customers Bank for their wonderful grant award of $3,640.00. These generous funds will be used to provide yoga instruction to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities participating in our health and wellness program.
