Seven Hills Aspire!'s (ASPiRE!) Day Habilitation (Day Hab) program in Devens celebrated its 20th anniversary this past October. All ASPiRE! Day Hab programs offer integrated occupational, physical, and speech therapy along with nursing and behavioral supports either on-site or in the community. In addition, all program participants are offered training in functional life skills, health maintenance, fine- and gross-motor skills, self-direction, community utilization, socialization, and communication. The staff and specialists that work at Devens and the other Seven Hills Aspire! Day Habilitation locations are highly skilled and trained to assist people that are aging or who have significant medical involvement. Cake was provided by Maribeth Fisher, Assistant Vice President of Seven Hills Aspire! to celebrate the staff and program reaching 20 years of encouraging participants to maximize their participation and potential.
