YOU, Inc. has been selected by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Office of Sexual Health and Youth Development to provide vital services to expectant and parenting youth ages 14-24 and their families. The Massachusetts Pregnant and Parenting Teen Initiative (MPPTI) model is designed to increase life opportunities for young parents, enhance family stability, and promote housing stability in priority communities. Our agency will prioritize working with Latinx families in the state’s identified Tier priority communities of Worcester and Southbridge.

YOU, Inc. has provided comprehensive community based, supported living, and preventative services for pregnant and parenting teens and young adults over several decades. Among the relevant programs and services currently offered are case management; support and education related to childbirth, positive parenting, healthy child development, and sexual health; connection to resources including housing, transportation and education; life skills training including budgeting and household management; pregnancy prevention education; and connection to supports for mental health or substance use issues.
