YOU, Inc. is the grateful recipient of a grant of $18,000 from the United Way of Central MA for vital spring programming in our Dynamy Youth Academy College Access Program. This funding will support our Senior Seminar Workshops, which assist our students and their families to maneuver through the complex financial aid process, understand loan products, and ensure sound financial decisions. The grant will also provide an opportunity for first-generation students to visit schools outside of the immediate area during our Extended College Tour – meeting directly with Admissions and Finance staff, exploring housing and other aspects of campus living, and broadening their horizons as it relates to colleges that are certainly within their reach. The United Way’s commitment to Youth Academy has ensured that these deserving students are well-positioned to achieve success in their academic and professional pursuits.
